Michael is a singer/songwriter from St. John's, Newfoundland.  Growing up in a home where singing was pretty much second nature, he came by his passion for music quite honestly.  In fact, Michael's parents still sing in their respective vocal groups to this very day.  Thanks to his parents Michael started singing and performing at a very young age.  He then nurtured his vocal craft through his own childhood school and vocal groups and music became (and remained) a huge part of everyday life.  

As a young adult Michael started performing throughout downtown St. John's' musically vibrant bar scene.  It is here where Michael found his feet as a live performer and cut his teeth as a songwriter.  Rubbing elbows with some of the province's best musicians really helped Michael grow as an artist.  He was fortunate enough to learn from some of his local musical heroes in real time.  

Michael now writes songs as a sort of social commentary on the world around him.  His strong tenor voice along with his thoughtful, relevant lyrics and catchy melodies will have his songs stuck in your head for days on end!
